  4. Hi!

My name is Audrey Stafford and I have been teaching fifth grade at Lewiston Porter for 18 years. (Yikes! Time flies!) I teach all subjects (reading, writing, grammar, spelling, social studies, science, math, and anything else fifth graders need to know!) I was the elementary remedial math teacher for two years before moving to fifth grade. I'm hoping to learn how to teach students the real concepts of math, not shortcuts. I have previewed the book and I don't remember some of the high school math~ I hope that's ok!

  9. My name is Sarah Gebhard. I teach Technical Mathematics at the Orleans Career and Tech Center in Medina. I am interested in how to undo the "bad habits" that my students have learned from their previous years of math. I need my students to break away from their usual procedures and understand the why behind the mathematics in order to understand it in their trades area.
